Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat campaign To achieve the objective of 'Viksit Bharat' through holistic development and empowerment of girls, several efforts are made by the government. One of the major challenges which is the Child Marriage in the country is a big impediment in achieving this vision. To tackle this issue effectively the Hon’ble Minister of Women and Child Development has launched "Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat" campaign on 27 November, 2024 to raise awareness on the issue and eliminate child marriages across the country with a 'Whole of Government' and 'Whole of Society' approach.
